…it felt like time to list it on ETSY as a back story to my methods :)

...this song moved me

this song is currently in the Jhon Lewis christmas ad that i have
to say is a wonderful and refreshingly uplifting story for christmas,
and as it happens it was done in aid of Save the Children charity :

“This is great music for a great cause. Everyone who
buys this fantastic album is directly helping some of the poorest
children in the UK to fulfil their potential.” 

not everyone has 7 poundlings to give these days but certainly
worth a listen in support of global awareness eh!

Hey guys, got invited to go party with the Gizmodo UK team
launch party… and boy do they know how to party!

Drinks were flowing free and plentiful, there were O2 angels on hand
with food, the Gizmodo UK team led by Kat Hannaford to show off an
array of gadegtry with prize give aways and much merryment was had
by all as we headed to the nearest bar for an after party drink :)
special shout out to the fellow nerd chums i met that
eve i do hope to see you at future shindigs!

these are the first few shots of a project that is quite meaningful to me
and has been a loooong time in the making! i’ve scratch built these jellyfish
from amongst other ingredients :
resin, fibre-optics, carbon fibre rod, a customised suction cup base mount
and various electronic parts (salvaged form whatever i could get my hands
on - my favourite way!)

…keen viewers may notice it as the base i WHipped up in Maya :)

SO the idea goes like this… using the suction cup base one can attach these
fellas to a window or mirror/suitably smooth surface for stability and angle
the jelly in whichever direction, several together especially lend themselves
to becoming an exercise in L.E.D flower arranging of sorts :D

…i’ve got an idea for an art installation involving 1000 of these guys and have
several charitable organisations to raise money for if anyone out in cyberspace
would like to sponsor/help fund ;)
